TransportationAt orientation you will be asked to identify how your student will be getting home the first week of school. If at all possible, it is recommended that they go home the same way every day the first week of school. Students will have a tag placed on their book bag the first day of school.

Car Riders |
Students that are new to DEA will receive their car tag at orientation.
|
Bus riders |
We understand that there is anxiety with placing your student on a bus. The first week of school we check off each student that gets on the bus and which bus they get on. This helps us be able to let you know that your student is on a bus.
We enter a bus request for students that are completely enrolled by Jun15th. This is not a complete guarantee that a bus will be available, but there is a better chance. |
Walkers |
Students that live under 2 miles are walkers. Students can come on campus starting at 7:45 through the black gate. Walkers will be dismissed shortly after 3:15.

Transportation Changes
At any point in the school year if you need to change how your student gets home, we need you to either 1) write a note in the agenda or 2) email the front office staff. Teachers are not always able to check email or text messages throughout the day, so they will not be able to communicate with the front office that a change has been made.
